Title IX SHAPE for Students - WINTER DEADLINE has now passed.
The new University of California SHAPE (Sexual Violence and Harassment, Anti-Discrimination, Prevention and Education) training course is available through Canvas for ALL UCSD students. Visit OPHD’s website for information about this requirement to complete this training. Students should use a browser (Firefox, Safari, Chrome) to complete the training not the Canvas app for mobile devices.
- Winter Enrollees who did not complete this training by February 2, 2026, will have a hold placed on your account that prevents you from enrolling in courses for Spring quarter.
- You may click to check the status of account holds.
- Once you complete the training, the hold should be removed within 2 business days.
- If the hold remains in place after 2 business days, please contact ophd@ucsd.edu for assistance.
What OPHD Does
Works to resolve complaints of unlawful discrimination and unlawful harassment through formal investigation or alternative resolution.
Explains and clarifies university policies and procedures regarding unlawful discrimination, unlawful harassment and retaliation.
Collaborates with other UC San Diego offices in resolving complaints.
Offers a variety of training programs and workshops in the prevention of sexual violence, sexual harassment and all forms of discrimination for students, faculty, and staff.
