Laurie Magulac, MSW

Laurie Magulac is a Student Affairs Case Manager at UC San Diego, providing non-clinical case management and connecting students with resources for basic needs, mental health, parenting, financial aid, and academics. In addition to her case management role, she serves as the Students with Dependents Liaison, leading advocacy, fundraising, and coalition-building efforts to uplift support resources for UC San Diego student parents and caregivers. Laurie is passionate about advancing resource access for student parents, ensuring their needs are met through a holistic approach. She holds a Master of Social Work (MSW) from California State University San Marcos and is a UC San Diego alumna. As an Associate Clinical Social Worker (ASW) and author, she integrates her professional and lived expertise with trauma-informed care to cultivate inclusive environments where all students can flourish and excel.
